About the Event
Lory, a Rotarian on the Board of Directors with the Rotary Club of South Miami, has been Operations Manager of the Miami Meow Mobile high volume high quality spay neuter (HQHVSN) unit of The Cat Network for 9 years. She also is the Home Health Director of Equipaws Pets Services, a family business who provides all aspects of pet care. Her division sends technicians to provide home health care for pets in need of at home medical care while the parents are away or if it is too far out of their scope to do on their own.
Lory has a passion for not only animal welfare and population control, but also veterinary wound care management using regenerative medicine. She also works at Birth Tissue International (BTI) as a Quality Review Coordinator. Birth Tissue international provides the necessary birth tissue to processors all over the US to create wound healing tissue for humans. She is teaming up with the Pacific Animal Shelter & Hospital (PASH) in Fiji as part of Visiting Veterinarians International throughout the month of August for another fantastic spay/neuter and vaccines/wellness clinic.
Lory has 25 years experience in veterinary medicine and management at 2 of the largest 24-hour clinics in Miami. She is very involved with her Rotary Club and throughout her travels, Lory has exchanged many flags with other Rotary Clubs.
