Speaker Ify Bozimo: Living the Dream in DC

Ify Bozimo is a deal attorney admitted in New York and Nigeria. She is in-house counsel at EnerSys, a publicly traded multinational energy company. Her focus is on M&A transactions, commercial contracts and overseeing the corporate governance for over 100 global subsidiaries.    Previously, she was a legal consultant for the World Bank Group drafting and reviewing transaction documents for infrastructure projects across emerging markets. She has represented numerous private investors and governments in project financing and has been invited as a speaker to numerous trade and investment events.     Ify holds a Master's degree in International Business and Economic Law (with Distinction) from Georgetown University Law Centre, with several years post qualification experience in corporate and project finance.    When she's not sleeping or playing tennis, she loves to make time for her probono practice which spans civil and criminal defence. She is also a Commissioner for African Affairs for the government of the District of Columbia.

Ify will speak about a local non-profit  DC Dream Centre which focuses on building a community where the needs of people in our city, especially youth, are met.
