Molly, one of five executive directors at the organization, brings a wealth of experience in planning and directing impactful campaigns, fostering partnerships, and coordinating coalitions that leverage the power of documentaries to drive progress on pressing global issues. Her extensive experience includes designing and leading training sessions for filmmakers and changemakers, all aimed at harnessing the potential of film for social change. In her current role, Molly is responsible for Working Films' external relations, connecting with the documentary film industry and social justice movements, while also elevating the organization's unique approach and learnings. She co-leads fundraising efforts and is part of the team of directors shaping organizational and programmatic strategies.
Molly is not only a driving force at Working Films but also a member of the Documentary Accountability Working Group. Additionally, she serves on the board of Justice for My Sister (JFMS), a nonprofit collective that empowers marginalized communities with a trauma-informed approach to storytelling, emphasizing gender equity and racial justice. Beyond her professional commitments, Molly enjoys listening to and dancing to music, cultivating gardens, and spending quality time with friends and family along the picturesque coast of North Carolina.
