How public service professionals can leverage their expertise & mission-driven experience to become civic entrepreneurs

Meet the speker: Colin Steele is the Executive Director of the Public Value Lab, a non-profit founded in 2025 to help transitioning federal workers and others reimagine public value through social entrepreneurship. He holds degrees in international relations from Georgetown and the Fletcher School, and has worked in higher education, consulting, and entrepreneurship. In addition to leading PVL, he has designed and led numerous peer-networking experiences for displaced federal workers and continues to consult with universities on career preparation and transition, especially in public-interest fields. He is also a proud AmeriCorps alumnus.
